Wolffia brasiliensis Weddell. Section: Pigmentatae. Common name: Brazilian Watermeal. Habitat: Still to slowly moving waters of ponds, lakes, beaver ponds, and swamps. Distribution: Widespread in e. North America, Central America, and South America.
