Selaginella ludoviciana (A. Braun) A. Braun. Common name: Gulf Spikemoss, Louisiana Spikemoss. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Limestone outcrops, ravine slopes, calcareous swamps, seeps, and hammocks. Distribution: Gulf Coastal Plain from ne. FL and sw. GA west to e. LA.
