*Raphanus sativus Linnaeus. Common name: Radish, Garden Radish. Phenology: Apr-Jun (-Sep). Habitat: Persistent after cultivation or as a "throw-out". Distribution: Native of Mediterranean Europe. Cultivated for at least 5000 years.
