Crataegus ×enucleata Sargent (pro sp.). Common name: Fulton Hybrid Hawthorn. Phenology: Apr; Sep-Oct. Habitat: Upland woodlands. Distribution: Sw. AR.
Origin/Endemic status: Endemic
Taxonomy Comments: A putative hybrid between a member of the Virides series with one of the Molles. Morphology suggests the Virides parent may, in this case, belong to C. viridis var. glabriuscula. This is one of a complex of Virides / Molles hybrids described from MO to TX, the first example being C. ×atrorubens Ashe.
