*Hyparrhenia rufa (Nees) Stapf. Common name: Jaragua Grass. Phenology: Oct-Jun. Habitat: Pine rocklands, flatwoods, disturbed moist to wet areas. Distribution: Native of the Paleotropics. Reported north to Alachua County, FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Paleotropics
