Key to Baptisia

A genus of about 20 species, perennial herbs, of temperate e. and c. North America.

ID notes:Many of our species hybridize when they grow in proximity. They are generally recognizable (especially in context with their parents) by their intermediate morphology. Additional hybrids have been created by plant breeders and may be found in cultivation.
