Stelis gelida (Lindley) A.M. Pridgeon & M.W. Chase. Common name: Frosted Pleurothallis. Phenology: Dec-Apr. Habitat: Epiphytic in pond apple sloughs. Distribution: S. FL (Collier County); West Indies; Mexico, Central America, and South America.

ID notes: Stelis gelida is distinct in having single-leaved stems without pseudobulbs (sometimes referred to as ramicauls) and with leaf apices containing minute notches with a mucro in the sinus.
