Eragrostis tracyi A.S. Hitchcock. Common name: Sanibel Island Lovegrass. Habitat: Beaches, disturbed sandy areas. Distribution: Endemic to sw. peninsular FL (Pinellas County south to Collier County).

Taxonomy Comments: See Peterson (1996) for discussion of his treatment at varietal status; notwithstanding, this taxon seems better treated at species rank.
