Ruellia yucatana (Leonard) Tharp & F.A. Barkley. Section: Ruellia. Common name: Yucatan Wild-petunia. Phenology: Mar-Oct. Habitat: Grasslands, on caliche, chaparral, thicket edges; eastwards in disturbed areas. Distribution: E. and c. TX southwards; also in s. Alabama in disturbed ground.
