Persicaria P. Miller. Common name: Smartweed, Tearthumb, Jumpseed.

Key to Persicaria

A genus of about 150 species, herbs, nearly cosmopolitan (primarily temperate Northern Hemisphere). The sections are well-marked morphologically and in molecular phylogenies; their recognition at generic rank is likely warranted.
