Jatropha dioica Sessé ex Cervantes var. dioica. Common name: Leatherstem, Sangre de Draco, Sangregado, Rubber Plant. Phenology: Jul-Aug. Habitat: Dry sandy areas, rocky limestone bluffs, scrub. Distribution: S. TX and ne. Mexico.
