*Artemisia annua Linnaeus. Subgenus: Seriphidium. Common name: Sweet Annie, Sweet Wormwood, Sweet Sagewort, Annual Mugwort. Phenology: Late Jul-Nov. Habitat: Barnyards, roadsides, disturbed areas, waste areas around wool-combing mills (Nesom 2004d). Distribution: Native of Asia and e. Europe.
