Ammoselinum popei Torrey & A. Gray. Common name: Pope’s Sand-Parsley, Plains Sand-Parsley. Phenology: Mar-May. Habitat: Limestone barrens, open gravelly areas. Distribution: KS, OK, TX, and NM south to ne. Mexico (COA, NLE, TAM); disjunct and apparently native in the Nashville Basin of c. TN.
