Polygonum glaucum Nuttall. Common name: Seabeach Knotweed, Seaside Knotweed. Phenology: May-Oct; Jun-Nov. Habitat: Ocean beaches, sound-side sandy shores, dune bases. Distribution: Along the coast, MA south to ne. FL; also in Panhandle FL and s. AL (perhaps not native on the Gulf Coast).
