Hyptis alata (Rafinesque) Shinners var. stenophylla Shinners. Common name: Narrow-leaved Cluster Bushmint. Habitat: Pine rocklands and marl prairies. Distribution: C. and s. peninsular FL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This taxon may be conspecific with a Cuban species; additional study is needed.
