Berula incisa (Torrey) G.N. Jones. Common name: Low Water-parsnip. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Marshes, ponds, swamp forests. Distribution: ON and BC south to NY, MI, IL, MO, OK, c. TX, NM, AZ, CA, and Mexico.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Taxonomy Comments: American plants represent a species distinct from the European B. erecta (Nesom 2024e; Spalik, Downie, & Watson 2009).
