not marked as a favorite taxon *Asystasia intrusa Blume. Common name: Chinese Violet, Coromandel, Creeping Foxglove, Asystasia. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Africa. See Barger et al. (2012) for additional information on the Alabama occurrence. See Lange, Bradley, & Sadle [in prep.] for report of the s. Florida occurrence, described as "abundant and aggressive".
