Tofieldia glabra Nuttall. Common name: Carolina Bog Asphodel, White Asphodel. Phenology: (Late Aug-) late Sep-Oct (-Nov); Oct-Nov. Habitat: Pine savanna-pocosin ecotones, wet pine savannas, seepage bogs. Distribution: Endemic to the Coastal Plain (including Sandhills) of NC and northern SC; reports from GA are dubious.
