*Scandix pecten-veneris Linnaeus. Common name: Venus's-comb, Shepherd's-needle. Phenology: Mar-Apr. Habitat: Roadsides, fields, disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Mediterranean Europe. First reported for TN (Polk County) by Hart, Shaw, & Estes (2012). First reported for LA (Caddo Parish) by Kelley (2022).
