not marked as a favorite taxon Yeatesia platystegia (Torrey) Hilsenbeck. Common name: Texas Shrimp-plant. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Shrublands and canyon woodlands. Distribution: S. and sw. TX south into Mexico (COA, NLE, TAM). Occurrences in our region reported on iNaturalist are unclear whether they are planted, naturalized, or native.
