Stachys subcordata Rydberg. Hab: Moist forests over calcareous or mafic rocks. Dist: The known range of this species is heavily concentrated in seven counties in the Blue Ridge of c. VA, with a few extensions into the s. Blue Ridge and w. Piedmont, and disjunct to ne. TN.
