not marked as a favorite taxon Crataegus ×notha Sargent (pro sp.). Common name: Mongrel Hawthorn. Phenology: Apr; Sep-Oct. Habitat: Gravelly hills in oak woodlands. Distribution: Endemic to Hempstead County, AR; no collections since 1921 suggest this entity may be extinct.

Taxonomy Comments: Originally described as an assumed interserial hybrid of C. marshallii Eggleston and a member of series Molles, possibly the locally sympatric C. brachyphylla Sargent.
