Astragalus

not marked as a favorite taxon Astragalus michauxii (Kuntze) F.J. Hermann. Common name: Sandhill Milkvetch, Michaux's Milkvetch. Phenology: Late Apr-Jun; Jun-Oct (and persisting). Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills, in loamy, clayey, or sandy areas. Distribution: Sc. North Carolina south through South Carolina to Georgia, a Southeastern Coastal Plain endemic (reports from Alabama and Florida are in error).
