Argythamnia mercurialina (Nuttall) Müller of Aargau var. pilosissima (Bentham) Shinners. Common name: Carrizo Silverbush. Phenology: Apr-Jul. Habitat: Sandy soils of oak woodlands and prairies. Distribution: E. TX south to s. TX, especially associated with the Carrizo Sand.
