Diphasiastrum tristachyum (Pursh) Holub. Common name: Blue Running-cedar, Ground-cedar. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Dry forests, glades, balds, barrens, forest openings. Distribution: NL (Labrador) west to AB, south to nw. SC, ne. GA, MO, MN, and e. ND.

Origin/Endemic status: Native
