Habitat: Streambanks, bottomlands, mostly on Acalypha, Bidens, Boehmeria, Cephalanthus, Decodon, Impatiens, Penthorum, Persicaria, Salix, Saururus, Sium, Solidago, and other genera (Costea & Nesom 2023). Distribution: Quebec, Ontario and Iowa south to North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico. The detailed distribution and abundance of this taxon is poorly understood.
