Habitat: In grasslands on tight sandy or silty substrates of woodlands, thornscrub, and fields in the lower Rio Grande Plain. Distribution: S. TX (Brooks, Duval, Hidalgo, Kenedy, Starr, Webb, and Zapata counties).
