Clinopodium macrocalyx Small. Common name: Large-flowered Scarlet Calamint. Phenology: Apr-May. Habitat: Longleaf pine sandhills and pine flatwoods. Distribution: Ec. peninsular FL (Seminole, Orange, and Brevard counties).

Taxonomy Comments: Clinopodium macrocalyx Small probably warrants recognition; it differs in larger corollas (> 4 cm long) and calyces (> 1.2 cm long).
