Eriophorum viridicarinatum (Engelmann) Fernald. Common name: Darkscale Cottonsedge, Darkscale Cottongrass. Phenology: May-Aug. Habitat: Bogs. Distribution: NL (Newfoundland and Labrador) west to AK, south to s. NJ, PA, OH, IN, IL, MN, ND, WY, ID, and WA; reported by Small (1933) for farther south, apparently in error.
