Isoetes tuckermanii A. Braun. Tuckerman's Quillwort. Hab: Shores, freshwater tidal marshes. Dist: NS south to n. NJ (reports of this species further south are apparently in error).

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: A tetraploid species (2n=44), apparently derived from hybridization of I. viridimontana M.A.Rosenthal & W.C.Taylor and an unknown or extinct species, Z (Hoot, Napier, & Taylor 2004), genotype=??ZZ.
