Lophophora williamsii (Lemaire ex Salm-Dyck) J.M. Coulter. Common name: Peyote, Mescal Buttons, Divine Cactus. Phenology: Mar-May (-Sep). Habitat: Scrub over limestone or calcareous sediments. Distribution: S. and w. TX, n. Mexico.
