Melanthiaceae
Melanthium
Melanthium Linnaeus. Common name: Bunchflower.
A genus of 4 species, herbs of e. North America. While sometimes included in Veratrum, the best molecular study to date (Kim et al. 2016) suggests that Melanthium is more closely related to Stenanthium and Anticlea than to Veratrum s.s.
