not marked as a favorite taxon Gomphrena nealleyi J.M. Coulter & Fisher. Common name: Nealley’s Globe-amaranth. Habitat: Grasslands; eastwards (SC) in a disturbed area along a railroad track. Distribution: Native of se. and s. TX south into ne. Mexico. Discovered apparently established along a railroad track in Charleston, SC (J. Gramling, pers. comm., June 2016).
