Crinum americanum Linnaeus var. americanum. Common name: Swamp-lily, String-lily, Seven-sisters. Phenology: Jun-Oct (-Jan). Habitat: Swamp forests, freshwater marshes. Distribution: Se. NC south to s. FL and west to e. TX; Mexico; West Indies.
