*Pleioblastus fortunei (Van Houtte) Nakai. Common name: Pygmy Bamboo. Habitat: Floodplain forests and moist slopes. Distribution: Native of Japan. Reported for VA, MD, and DC (Steury, Triplett, & Parrish 2013)
