*Moeroris amara (Schumacher & Thonning) R.W. Bouman. Common name: Gale-of-wind, Carry-me-seed. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Disturbed roadsides. Distribution: Native of s. Asia. Also reported for NC and SC (Radford, Ahles, & Bell 1968) and for AL and MS (Kartesz 2010, 2020); it appears that these reports represent misidentified material and are actually Moeroris tenella (Webster 1970).
