Rauvolfia
*Rauvolfia Linnaeus. Common name: Devil's-pepper.
A genus of 60-100 species, shrubs (and trees), of the Neotropics and Paleotropics (Endress et al. 2018).
Subfamily: Rauvolfioideae.ID notes: Rauvolfia has milky sap, which can cause dermatitis. Leaves at most nodes are whorled, and of uneven size.
