Tillandsia bartramii Elliott. Common name: Bartram's Airplant. Habitat: On tree branches in bayswamps, tidal swamp forests, and mesic hardwood bluffs (hammocks). Distribution: E. GA south through FL; disjunct to Mexico and Guatemala.
Origin/Endemic status: Native
Other Comments: In five counties in e. GA, as far north as Liberty County (Jones & Coile 1988), and reported for SC as extirpated (Kartesz 1999).
