Hab: Sandhill seepage bogs, Altamaha Grit outcrops, seepage over the Catahoula in the West Gulf Coastal Plain, seepage over granite in the Blue Ridge Escarpment. Dist: Sc. NC south to w. Panhandle FL, west to e. TX; disjunct in w. SC in the uppermost Piedmont in the Blue Ridge Escarpment region.
