not marked as a favorite taxon Juncus nodatus Coville. Common name: Stout Rush. Phenology: (Jun-) Jul-Sep. Habitat: Shallow water, marshes, sloughs, pine savannas, bogs. Distribution: Kentucky west to Kansas, south to Tennessee, Alabama, w. Panhandle Florida, Mississippi (Sorrie & LeBlond 2008), Louisiana, and Texas.
