Bolboschoenus maritimus (Linnaeus) Palla ssp. paludosus (A. Nelson) T. Koyama. Common name: Alkali Bulrush, Salt-marsh Bulrush. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Marshes. Distribution: Interruptedly circumboreal, south in North America to VA (?), NY, MN, MO, OK, TX, and Mexico.
