Rhynchospora fusca (Linnaeus) W.T. Aiton. Common name: Brown Beaksedge. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Atlantic white-cedar swamp, sea-level fen, fen. Distribution: NL (Labrador) west to SK, south to NJ, e. PA (Rhoads & Block 2007), MD, DE, WV (FNA; Harmon, Ford-Werntz, & Grafton 2006), IN, IL, and MN; nw. Europe.
