*Bambusa vulgaris Schrader ex J.C. Wendland. Common name: Common Bamboo. Habitat: Disturbed areas, spread vegetatively from horticultural use. Distribution: Native of tropical Asia. Reported for SC (Kartesz 2022), apparently in error.
