not marked as a favorite taxon Dichanthelium dichotomum (Linnaeus) Gould var. dichotomum. Common name: Forked Witchgrass. Phenology: May-Oct. Habitat: Wet-mesic to dry woods, thickets, and woodland openings. Distribution: S. Canada and MI south to FL and TX.
