Dichanthelium wilcoxianum (Vasey) Freckmann. Common name: Wilcox's Witchgrass. Phenology: Mid spring into autumn. Habitat: In dry prairies, especially sandy and gravelly openings. Distribution: MB to AB, south to KS and CO, then disjunctly to NM. Shown as occurring in SC and MS on the range map in FNA, but the source of these records is not known for this plant primarily of dry prairies in the Upper Midwest.
