*Digitaria eriantha Steudel ssp. pentzii (Stent) Kok. Common name: Pangola Grass. Phenology: Jun-Oct. Habitat: Pastures, canal banks, roadsides, longleaf pine sandhills, disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Africa. Introduced in FL peninsula (Wunderlin & Hansen 2003, 2006).

Origin/Endemic status: Subsaharan Africa
