*Eleusine tristachya (Lamarck) Lamarck. Common name: Three-spike Goose-grass. Phenology: Jul-Oct. Habitat: Waste areas of wool-combing mills, other disturbed areas, perhaps only a waif. Distribution: Native of South America. Reported as introduced in additional, scattered states in e. United States, including VA (Kartesz 1999, but apparently in error), NJ (Hilu 1980) and AL (Small 1933).
