not marked as a favorite taxon Leersia oryzoides (Linnaeus) Swartz. Common name: Rice Cutgrass. Phenology: Jun-Nov. Habitat: Marshes, riverbanks, pond-shores, and a wide diversity of other wetlands. Distribution: Nova Scotia west to British Columbia, south to Panhandle Florida and California; also in Europe and e. Asia (where perhaps only introduced).
