Limnodea arkansana (Nuttall) L.H. Dewey. Common name: Limnodea. Phenology: Mar-Jun. Habitat: Calcareous prairies, hammocks, moist forests, loamy and sandy prairies, disturbed areas (Panhandle FL westward); waste at wool-combing mill, where probably not established (SC). Distribution: W. FL, c. and s. AL, west through MS, LA, and AR to OK, TX, and adjacent ne. Mexico (COA, TAM).
