*Nephrolepis cordifolia (Linnaeus) C. Presl var. cordifolia . Common name: Narrow Sword Fern. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Swamps and hammocks, disturbed moist and wet areas; probably not native in FL (or other states of the Southeastern US). Distribution: Native of se. and s. Asia.

Origin/Endemic status: E., se., and s. Asia

Synonymy : = POWO, Hovenkamp & Miyamoto (2005); Polypodium cordifolium L. = n/a — RAB; < Nephrolepis cordifolia (L.) C.Presl — Fl1, FNA2, K4, Meso1, NS, Sf, SFla, WH3, Lin et al (2013). Basionym: Polypodium cordifolium L. 1753
